I grew up in New Jersey, the oldest of three sons of a police officer and a nurse, where I started working in my uncle’s store when I was ten years old. Most summers throughout my teens I held down two or three jobs and usually kept one during the school year. I have been a dishwasher, bus boy, waiter, pizza maker, short-order cook, fast food associate, Starbucks barista, roofer, handyman / lawn care, bouncer, bartender, and teacher. I worked my way through college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, where I met my wife Annie. We lived in New York City for two years after marriage before I went to law school at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC, where I graduated in 2008. My family and I moved to Front Royal in 2010. We have nine children, seven of whom were born since moving here. Those who have left the home have remained in Front Royal.
As an attorney, I am a civil litigator who has brought cases in state and federal court. Notably, I have argued successfully before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Fifth Circuits. Before opening my practice I served as a Senior Executive in the Donald J. Trump Administration working on immigration issues and as a policy attorney for the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council (corporate offices), a Fortune 1000 insurance company and the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world. In both roles, I pursued conservative policies that have had a nationwide impact. Many of these have enjoyed wide bipartisan support. I’ve also been active as a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, as a former Board member of the Front Royal Pregnancy Center, and in the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus.
I was a member of Front Royal Town Council in 2021 but stepped down to avoid pursuing a rezoning a property I had an interest in while I was on Council. Although I could have recused myself from any discussions and votes, I did not want people to have to give me the benefit of the doubt. That seemed to me like it would be an imposition in light of the EDA scandals, which were still fresh in everyone’s minds.
I have been an an active member of the Warren County Republican Committee since 2020, with a break in the 2023-2024 timeframe. Upon becoming active again, I took the role of Secretary in 2025.
I am seeking to put the knowledge and expertise I have gained in these roles to the service of the Warren County where my wife Annie and I have been so fortunate to raise our family over the last 16 years.
